Life group news.

Obviously we didn’t meet this week as I didn’t see anyone here besides my family. Please note that we WILL be meeting next week. I already know that some of you will be out of pocket that week, but please remind me again as we begin to prepare food for the week.

Just for thought.

Ben was thinking of organizing a life group bike ride. Nothing huge just around the Trinity trails. We will bring this up next time we meet. So dust off those old bikes, air up the tires and get the seat adjusted. We would like to do this some Sunday afternoon before it gets too hot.

Keith e-mailed a special prayer request. If you all think of it, please keep Evonia and her family in your prayers.:


Darren we went to Houston to visit Evonia's Dad (who will be 80 next month) over the weekend because they believed he had had a stroke. Well it turned out that it was not a stroke but a seizure and he is recovering well from that. However, while we were there Evonia discovered that her Dad has deeded half of the country property that her deceased mother and Dad purchased together (about six acres of land) to a tramp (excuse the term but that is what Evonia believes she is) who is younger than Evonia, the woman is 44 and was having an affair with her Dad before her mother died. Her Dad has since married the woman.

Evonia is devastated and very hurt by this and she needs some prayer to help her get through this.

One more thing. I think I finally found out where to allow comments on the blog, so Please feel free to comment and reply so the group can hear. Unless of course it is not positive. You can keep those to yourself. Just kidding.
